Kathy Favelson
A dedicated career artisan, jewelry model maker and designer, Kathleen Favelson got her start working as a repair jeweler in Pittsburgh, PA under one of the best jewelry craftsman in the industry. After working for 4 years she left Pittsburgh to attend The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she majored in Jewelry Design and graduated in 1984.
Her industry experience includes 30 years working for large and small manufacturers and as a freelance model maker. Her work includes costume, bridge and fine jewelry, as well as highly specialized and custom projects working in collaboration with other well known designers in the jewelry industry.
Her personal focus is to add value when working with clients through a consultative approach to the design, sourcing, production, manufacturing and finishing processes.
Kathleen’s work has been exhibited at Eat Metal Art Jewelry Gallery, Bertoni Gallery, Joan Michlin Gallery in NYC
She currently lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
