Be prepared to be inundated with beautiful imperfect gemstones – all types. We will explore the majesty and mystery of actual gemstones with often stunning imperfections!
Short of x-rays, we will use equipment (most of it rather elementary) to examine the gemstones and evaluate quality of use, as well as value in the marketplace which can be enhanced by use in a piece of jewelry that brings to life the beauty of the imperfections.
We will examine these gemstones in jewelry and learn about decisions on how to use them to best advantage.
